The Oi Shrine Grand Festival is also called the "Obi Festival" and is a festival in which the god of Oi Shrine returns to the old shrine site (inn) once every three years. Today, for three days including the second Sunday in October, a gorgeous festival is held in the town of Shimada where dainu, daimyo processions, Kashima odori, street stall dances from 1st Avenue to 5th Avenue, and ground dances are held. Especially on the last day, all of them form a large procession together with the mikoshi procession, and they slowly parade for a whole day for a round trip of about 4 km from Oi Shrine to the inn. Due to the appearance and swing of the dainu at this time, as well as the unique form of Kashima Odori, the obi festival has come to be counted as one of the three strange festival in Japan. In addition, since the Edo period, first-class entertainers from Edo have been invited to choreographed dances in each town, Nagauta, and shamisen, and Nagauta in particular is also called "Nagauta Festival" because the iemoto of each school competed for throat.

Climbing a mountain by bicycle in the early morning of summer. When I was a child, my grandmother often brought me to Shojoike, but the numerous calls of the Higurashi are sometimes accompanied by the chilling sounds of giant frogs. The atmosphere that could only be experienced here for a long time still remains intact. Only now did I know the origin of the pond. In the Edo period, farmers suffering from drought at the foot of the mountain asked to build a large reservoir in the mountains, but permission was not easily obtained, and many years passed. After the farmers continued to plead without giving up while suffering from the sunshine, permission was finally granted and a large reservoir was completed. The farmers expressed their gratitude to the daikan and performed Noh "Son" by this pond. In commemoration of this, the pond was named Sonari Pond. Torches burning in the twilight... The sound of flutes and drums seems to resonate.

In Towada City, Aomori Prefecture, this is a Yabusame tournament held only by female jockeys around the time the cherry blossoms are in bloom. Female jockeys dressed in glossy kimono carry bows, ride on horses of Japan traditional lineage, and fly quickly through three targets while frying dust. Originally, Yabusame is an event held only by men as a Shinto ritual, but befitting the modern era of the 21st century, the gender difference between men and women has been abolished, and the ancient traditions of martial arts and equestrian arts that have been handed down from ancient Japan times have been adopted and passed on to future generations, and the world of glossy kimono fushiko is worth visiting and seeing. At the 4th "COOL JAPAN VIDEOS" Photo Contest - Spring of Japan, we were selected as one of the six winners out of 1,000 entries and received an honorable mention. 【Spring Shooting】
